Amanda Holden Gives Birth to a Baby Girl

Amanda Holden gave birth to a baby girl on Monday, her spokeswoman has confirmed.
The baby, born about a month prematurely, has been named Hollie Rose Hughes. While Hollie was born completely healthy, weighing in at 6.1lbs, Amanda has been in a critical condition for the past three days. Her spokeswoman, Alison Griffin, said, “She is now stable and we expect her to make a full recovery very soon”.
The Britain’s Got Talent judge, 40, had pulled out of he Blackpool auditions for the ITV show at the last minute to check herself in to hospital on Monday morning. Show bosses decided to proceed with the auditions without her, while she gave birth.
This is Amanda’s second daughter with husband Chris Hughes: their oldest child, Lexi, celebrated her sixth birthday last Friday. However, it was her fourth pregnancy: she miscarried in May 2010 and gave birth to a stillborn baby in February 2011.
