Marc Jacobs has headed to the ice cream parlour for this retro inspired pink Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2012 campaign. Photographed by Steven Meisel, the ad features Daria Strokous and Kati Nescher in a manufactured ice cream shop with more pink that any one thought possible for one ad campaign! Talking about the cute campaign, Marc described, ‘It is all very soft and very sweet, yet at the same time very bold and very graphic!’ We are loving the retro, girly, pastel colours! Chanel’s Indian-Inspired Metier d’Art 2012 collection
Karl Lagerfeld displayed a magnificient “Indian Inspired” Chanel Metiers d’Arts 2012 Pre-Fall collection titled “Paris-Bombay” at Galerie Courbe in the Grand Palais today. The runways were framed by long banquet tables set with white table cloths, silver bowls, crystal and snacks. The collection was bursting with embellishments and gold detailing and references Bombay rather than the Indian capital’s modern-day name, Mumbai, may be it’s a nod to the city’s history as a European trading post.
