John Peter London

The first John Peter show launched at Funky Buddha located in the heart of Mayfair in 2010. This was followed by shows in Kensington Palace, and then No. 5 Cavendish Square, which were equally, if not more, successful. After gaining recognition in London as a men’s designer, John Peter unveiled his new collection in 2011. This was aimed to appeal to younger consumers by combining military, collegiate and pop art influences. The shows are not only a highlight for the designs, but also for the models wearing them. London Fashion Week Networking September 2011

Adam Danyal, London Fashion Models and Superstar Magazine presented a fantastic evening in September, celebrating the opening of London Fashion Week, by hosting their second London Fashion Networking Event in 2011 exclusively for the fashion and beauty industry. Held at the ultra exclusive Aura Mayfair, it made way for a glamorous and fabulous night of fashion, fun and ofcourse networking. Danish Wakeel’s Fashion Show & Film Premiere

Fashion designer and model Danish Wakeel showcased his spectacular menswear collection ’Death Being Eroticized’ and fashion film ‘Demise by Temptations’ at the exclusive club Aura in Mayfair. The show was presented by well-known celebrity hairstylist Stuart Philips and Emma Hall. The Goth subculture which began in England during the early 1980s has been Danish’s main inspiration in a collection which oozes dark glamour, decay and fetishism. Paris Fashion Week came to a close this week and what a fabulous 5 days it was. Designers showed off some striking creations for Spring/ Summer 2012. From Chanel and Christian Dior to Louis Vuitton and Lanvin, it was a full on showstopping event. Superstar Magazine rounds up the highlights from all the hottest designers. Chanel  Karl Lagerfeld’s Spring 2012 collection for Chanel had all the feminine indulgences and presented a dreamy, under-the-sea setting. Kanye West Debuts Clothing Line at Paris Fashion Week

Kanye West unveiled his first womenswear collection at Paris Fashion Week, last night.  The rapper-turned-designer payed homage to his mother, the late Donda West, with the debut of “Dw by Kanye West.” The collection stayed true to his rockstar style and featured body-con dresses, leather and sequinned trousers. Waka Flocka Flame’s “Hard in da Paint” and Common’s “The Light” played as models paraded down the runway wearing Kanye’s creations. West walked out to take a bow at the end, wearing a simple white T-shirt, black jeans, and Nike trainers. Milan Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2012

Milan Fashion Week bought all the big hit designers to the forefront, from Versace and Dolce & Gabbana to Cavalli and Gucci, it was a full on glamorous event. Superstar Magazine rounds up the highlights and trends from all the hottest designers. J Summer Fashion Show

The spectacular J Summer Fashion Show presented an outstanding mix of high couture and high street designers. The fashion affair was held at the iconic hotel Savoy, which following a 220 million pound restoration, has been supporting many fashion projects. The show was organised by J Model Management, owned by model and entrepreneur Jessica Minh Anh, which has already caused a stir amongst the UK and international press for its high profile fashion shows. Beach Couture Summer Party Tickets

The hottest party of the year, Beach Couture, takes place at a prestigious private members’ club The Yacht London on the Thames. The Button Club’s beach party on board a luxury steam yacht is a perfect spot on the river with views up and down the Thames. The deck opens at 6pm and party continues until 1am.
