The 18th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards (SAGs) were held on Sunday night in Los Angeles, uniting actors from around the globe to celebrate achievements in film and television. The SAGS hold special significance to actors as they are nominated by, voted upon and presented by their own peers. Winning big on the night was The Help, with Viola Davis picking up Outstanding Female Actor in a Leading Role, Octavia Spencer winning Outstanding Female Actor in a Supporting Role, and the cast in Outstanding Ensemble in a Motion Picture. Alec Baldwin and Jean Dujardin also took away a gong each. 55th BFI London Film Festival Line-up

The programme for the 55th BFI London Film Festival in partnership with American Express launched today by Artistic Director Sandra Hebron, celebrates the imagination and excellence of international filmmaking from both established and emerging talent.  Over 16 days the Festival will screen a total of 204 fiction and documentary features, including 13 World Premieres, 18 International Premieres and 22 European Premieres.
