Jay-Z Releases New Song ‘Glory’ For Daughter Blue Ivy

Jay-Z has unveiled a new song to celebrate the birth of his daughter Blue Ivy Carter. The rapper, who welcomed his first child with wife Beyoncé on Saturday, unveiled a new track titled ‘Glory‘ in honour of his newborn baby daughter. Jay-Z posted the song to his website Life + Times on yesterday. The track features audio from Blue Ivy that was recorded shortly after her birth and tells the story of her conception, suggesting that Beyoncé suffered a miscarriage prior to conceiving Blue Ivy. “Last time the miscarriage was tragic / We was afraid you’d disappear but nah baby you’re magic,” sings Jay-Z.
