Despite almost 9000 complaints Eastenders ratings have not suffered since the controversial cot death, baby swap plot. In the days after the swap was initially shown the hit soap drew 11.1 million viewers, its best peak figures for almost a year, and almost 10 million continued to tune in for the funeral this week.
