10-Year-Old Boy Belts Out A Timeless 60s Hit With Soulfulness Beyond His Years
Calum Courtney from Essex, UK is just 10 years old, but when he sings, it’s as if he was a seasoned professional with all of the heart and soul that he exudes. Plus he’s keeping it old school with some of the greatest Motown hits ever! He performed the beloved Motown hit, “Who’s Loving You,” (made most popular by Jackson 5) on “Britain’s Got Talent” and wowed both the judges and the audience.
Some might recognize Calum and his soulfulness from back in 2017 when he decided to share his gift with some local shoppers. Among the isles, he got a taste of performing in public, which no doubt helped him muster up the courage to audition on “BGT.”
Given Calum’s stellar stage presence one might be surprised to learn that in actuality he faces some extra challenges than other kids. Calum was diagnosed with a high-functioning autism, meaning an “average or above average intelligence but may struggle with issues related to social interaction and communication,” according to Autism Speaks.
