‘Boy Band’ Performs An ‘Absolutely Brilliant’ Audition After Judges Give Major Eye Roll
Taking on the challenging songs from the celebrated Broadway gem, Les Misérables, is very risky for it requires solid vocals with an impeccable rage. So, when a “boy band” hit the stage to audition with a Le Mis song, it came as a surprise to everyone, especially the judges. After a major eye roll, the “judge-y” judges were in for a wonderful surprise.
The British musical group (and not a “boy band”) goes by the name of Collabro and it’s made up of singers: Michael Auger, Jamie Lambert, Matthew Pagan and Thomas J. Redgrave, and Richard Hadfield. After weeks of deliberation, the talented young men decided on “Stars” from the aforementioned hugely popular musical, Les Misérables.
The judges were beside themselves when they realized just how wrong they were about the group. See, you can never judge a book by its cover! “I could just burst with pride for you because that was bloody brilliant!” said judge Amanda Holden. Judge Simon Cowell added that the group’s audition was “absolutely brilliant!”
