John Travolta Teaches Jimmy Fallon His Incredible Hip Moves From ‘Grease’
“I got chills, they’re multiplyin’, and I’m losin’ control. Cause the power you’re supplyin’, it’s electrifyin!’” Are you a fan of the epic film “Grease?” When “You’re the One That I Want” comes on do you shake your hips in a sad attempt to channel your inner-Travolta? Then you need to watch this video!
It’s the 40th anniversary of “Grease” and John Travolta recently proved that he’s still got the moves and those coveted hip shakes! On Wednesday, Travolta, 64, was a guest on the “Tonight Show” where he taught Jimmy Fallon his famous dance moves. Also a major “Grease” fan, Fallon had no qualms about getting up and shaking his hips alongside a legend. Travolta, who played Danny, explained that a choreographer needed a move for the end scene of the high school carnival (where Danny reunites with Sandy – played by Olivia Newton-John) and he offered a suggestion.
“The four corners!” Travolta explained. “Like in ‘Pulp Fiction,’ I grew up with all these novelty dances. So in ‘Grease’ they needed a step for ‘You’re the One That I Want’ at the end. So I said, ‘Well, we used to do the four corners, why don’t we do that?'” Watch the funny moment when Travolta completely mesmerizes Fallon with his hips…
